Alen Hrga is a Research Associate at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. He graduated in 2018 from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Zagreb and is employed at the same faculty since March 2018 at the Department of Energy and Power Systems.
His professional interests include software engineering, electric vehicles, virtual and mixed reality, and distributed ledger technologies. The current focus of his research is on application of distributed ledger technology in the energy sector.
He was the organizer of the first blockchain development meetup in Zagreb and several workshops on blockchain technology and information security for students, for which he received the Rector’s Award in 2017.
