Marin Vuković is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, Croatia (UNIZG-FER). He has been affiliated with the Department of Telecommunications at UNIZG-FER since 2006. He received his diploma degree in electrical engineering with a major in telecommunications and informatics from the UNIZG-FER in April 2006. He has been employed at the Department of Telecommunications at UNIZG-FER since October 2006 in the position of Research Associate. He started his PhD studies in October 2006 at the UNIZG-FER, which he successfully finished in June 2011 by defending his dissertation titled “Adaptive location information management for value-added telecommunication services “.
Marin Vuković has co-authored over 40 journal and conference papers and reviewed a number of papers for international conferences and journals. He actively participated in panels, round tables and held invited lectures with the goal of popularization of science and profession. He is a co-author of the patent at the Croatian Institute for Intellectual Property.
During his professional career, Marin Vuković has participated in scientific projects financed by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia, projects financed from the EU funds as well as many industrial projects. He currently leads the project entitled “WWW.HR – Croatia Homepage” in collaboration with the Croatian Academic and Research Network CARNet.
Marin Vuković is a deputy director of “Laboratory for Security and Privacy (SPL)” and “Laboratory forAssistive Technology and Alternative and Augmentative Communication (ICT-AAC)” at the University ofZagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. He is a senior member of IEEECommunications Society.
